Context
NEONB needed to feel like a small studio rather than a generic personal portfolio. The site has to carry client-facing context while still leaving room for process writing and experiments.
Challenge
The main challenge was balancing editorial atmosphere with practical navigation: the homepage needs to feel distinctive, but projects, journal entries, and inquiry paths still need to be obvious.
Approach
Built a Next.js App Router site with reusable editorial sections and a small, typed data layer.
Used large-format typography, image-masked hero treatment, and hover-led project browsing to keep the site expressive without adding decorative clutter.
Structured the work area so public case material, studio-facing work, and future client projects can live in one coherent system.
Outcome
The result is a focused studio site that can grow from one public platform into a broader case-study archive without changing the core experience.
