Context
The journal needed to support personal writing without pulling the whole site into a blog-first structure.
Challenge
The writing surface had to feel connected to the studio, while still being simple enough to publish and maintain regularly.
Approach
Used MDX content with generated reading metadata and individual post pages.
Kept journal previews visually distinct from project work, with direct links into long-form posts.
Maintained a quiet editorial hierarchy so the writing supports the studio story rather than competing with it.
Outcome
The journal gives the site a durable place for process, experiments, and technical notes without adding a separate publishing product.
